While You're Here

[Picture of flowers] The total time you may spend in the clinic is usually 3-5 hours.

When you arrive at the clinic, you will begin filling out the proper paperwork. After completion of your paperwork you will have an ultrasound to determine the gestational age of your pregnancy. Upon determination of your pregnancy gestational age you will be directed to the admitting office where your payment will be collected.

After collection of your payment you will be sent to the lab for a urine pregnancy test and a finger-prick hemoglobin test.

If at any time during your time in the clinic should you decide to not have the procedure done for any reason, simply tell the staff and we will refund your payment. We do charge $100.00 for the ultrasound. Refund will not be given after the procedure has been completed.

There are specific medical conditions, which may prevent the physician from completing your procedure. If that happens, you will be given a full refund except for the cost of the ultrasound, $100.00. We will give you a referral to a clinic that can accommodate your medical condition.

During the procedure you will experience the discomfort associated with a bad menstrual cramp. We do suggest you consider IV sedation, which will relax you and provide amnesia.

After your procedure you will spend a short time in the recovery. Your vital signs will be monitored and you will be given instructions on your care after the procedure. You will be given pain medication and antibiotics to take at home. The recovery room staff will determine when you may leave the clinic.

At any time during your stay with us please feel free to ask our staff questions.
